Vacation
So in just a little over a day I am going on vacation to Santa Fe, NM with a stop in Colorado Springs to see Chris. I am super excited but a little worried about my diet. I have got down to 207 lbs and I am super proud of myself but I am worried that I will gain a whole bunch back on my vacation. I do want to enjoy my vacation and have fun going out so I am not going to stick to my diet quite as much and I will be drinking some but I am hoping I can balance everything. There are a lot of walking tours and outside activities in Santa Fe so I am hoping all the walking will help offset any splurges. I still plan on tracking all my food so I have at least an idea of what I am consuming but I am not going to work so hard on counting calories. One of the things that I am most concerned about is breakfast because so many people eat carb laden food for breakfast I am worried that I might not be able to find things like eggs and bacon. I was thinking of making a dozen hard cooked eggs before the trip and keeping them in a cooler or something so that I have access to something I am comfortable eating but I just don't know how that will work logistically.

Not a bad idea on the hard boiled eggs in a cooler--why not? You could replenish ice when needed at gas stations. Nuts would be another filling and healthy snack. I noticed on our last trip out that some hotels did have hard-boiled eggs at breakfast. Depends on where you stay though. Glad you are excited about the trip, it sounds fun!
