Loving The Scale

I know my title seems weird because most women dread getting on the scale but lately I love it because I can see that I am making progress when sometimes I feel like I am not. I know my body has changed quite a bit. Before I lost the weight the belt for my work pants was on its last hole, now I have had to poke like 5 extra holes and the belt is falling apart because of that. I measured the difference on my belt a from where I was wearing it before I lost weight to now is about 11 inches. I mean that is crazy, almost a foot off my waist. I want to blog more but I don't really seem to have that much to blog about I am not really exercising much but I am eating well and right now I am down to 213 lbs. The gist of this post is basically that I forgot how great it was to see those numbers going down and I am remembering that feeling again.

  1. Woah, that is crazy with the belt. Sounds like you need a new one! But cool to keep it around to track your progress. I got rid of our scale after I had Blake. Even though I've never been one of those people who stresses weighing oneself everyday or stresses out when I do, it can sometimes be stressful when trying to lose weight if it is a heavier day, and can be a downer. Even though knowing body weight can fluctuate five pounds any given week. Anyways, if that made any sense, I have not missed having one around, except that I can't weigh the kids. Oh well! Nice that you are enjoying using yours. :)
