Okay so this post isn't really about physical health but I definitely think that being debt free is good for emotional health. It took me about four months but in a couple of weeks I will have my car all paid for. Then I get to start working on saving for student loans. I am going to cut down on my hours at work because it has been competing with school and I know that school needs to take precedent, so I won't be able to pay off the student loans as quickly as I would like but I still think I will be able to do it in under a year (hopefully that means before I start having to pay interest).
I guess I do have a physical health topic type thingy to talk about. I went and tried on clothes at Maurices today and I was able to fit into a size 18 jean pretty easily (read: I could still breath after they were zipped). I didn't but any though because hopefully soon I will be a size 16 and I don't want to waste money. I did buy a shirt and a tank top to go under it because it is the type of shirt that can look good loose and it was really cute. The tank top I got in a size 0 (the plus size 0) and the shirt I got in a size 1 but I probably could have fit into a 0 if I tried. I wanted to go to Old Navy too and try on clothes but I was with someone else and we ran out of time. I am feeling pretty good because before I started trying to loose weight I think I was probably getting close to wearing a size 3 at Maurices and I know that some size 2 shirts were tight. I took some pictures of myself in the dressing room with my phone so I might post those (my phone seems to have problems with sending/receiving pictures).
Being debt free is definitely a positive emotional experience. Sounds like you're on the right track! And it's encouraging to see the sizes drop w/clothes, that keeps me going too. Good job, Jilly, proud of you!
